Yeah, well, you know, Harold, those girls don't make any effort to try and hide who and what they're talkin' about. They are so petty and catty. I overheard Ethel say she thought I was boring, BORING! So no, Harold, I am done with Ethel! And, guess what, after they finished talking about me being boring and dull, they talked about Revlon's new moist lip gloss. And I'm boring. That's a joke!

My fascination with patterns stems from my love of numbers. While mathematics has been integral in my working career in finance, my other love is painting. My subject matter is inspired by photographs taken by friends and family. I see a photograph in terms of color, line and geometry. These qualities appeal to my sense of order and design (my fascination with numbers translated into art). There are times when a single photograph and the resulting abstract painting leads to another path -- and another painting -- and sometimes a third or fourth version from the same photo.
