Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Tarantula Nebula, composite image. Combined optical and infrared image of the Tarantula Nebula (30 Doradus, NGC 2070). This is a large star-forming region and emission nebula where vast clouds of gas and dust glow due to the radiation from newborn stars. The red cross (centre) marks the location of the VFTS 352 double star system (see C030/0159). The Tarantula Nebula is around 160,000 light years from Earth, in the Large Magellanic Cloud, in the constellation of Dorado. The optical data is from the Wide Field Imager (WFI) camera on the MPG/ESO 2.2-metre telescope at ESO's La Silla Observatory in Chile. The infrared data is from the 4.1-metre Visible and Infrared Survey Telescope for Astronomy (VISTA) at Paranal, Chile. Image released in October 2015.
