A vintage Italian movie poster of "Piccolo mondo antico", an Italian film released in 1941, directed by Mario Soldati. The title translates to "Little Old World" or "Little Ancient World" in English. The movie is based on the novel of the same name by Antonio Fogazzaro, which was originally published in 1895.

Set in the late 19th century in the picturesque Italian Alps, the film tells the story of a young woman named Luisa (played by Alida Valli), who returns to her family's ancestral home in the small village of Val di Serenissima after the death of her mother. She is accompanied by her loyal maid Tina (played by Clara Calamai). Luisa's arrival in the village stirs up memories and emotions, as well as old family feuds and secrets.
