Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
The 1941 film La Straniera (The Stranger) is a modern adaptation of a novel by Alexandre Dumas. The plot revolves around a mysterious woman who, after promising to marry a wealthy American, withdraws all her money from their bank account and disappears. The American is left with a cryptic phone call from her, stating she has "obtained justice from several people." The film unfolds her quest for vengeance against the male population, using means that range from infidelity to murder. This quest is driven by her desire to avenge her mother, who was seduced and abandoned by a philanderer. Notably, a French-language version of the film was also made simultaneously with the Italian version.
